Fun in the Sun at Sun-N-Fun!

Welcome back! I have someplace really fun to tell you about, called Sun-N-Fun. Sun-N-Fun is a private RV resort in Sarasota, Florida, but from April to Labor Day the pool and some activities there are open to the public.

The pool area features an Olympic-size pool, an inflatable obstacle course floating on an indoor pool, a tall twisty waterslide, two hot tubs, a poolside bar and grill, and sometimes bungee jumping and "the Meltdown."

The indoor obstacle course is made by Wibit Sports and is set up on the surface of an indoor pool. There are two long strips of obstacles, going in opposite ways. It is kind of something like American Ninja Warrior, with things to run on, jump over, and climb up.

I really liked the Wibit. It is fun to challenge and race your friends, but also go by yourself and get better at it. In my opinion, one side was easier than the other, but both were fun. Every time you do it, you get a little bit better. I think falling off and succeeding are equally fun!

The big outdoor pool is good to play in or for parents to just relax in while the kids are on the Wibit or waterslide. You can bring your own floats and noodles, but you can also just swim.

The waterslide starts from a very high height and spirals down until you land in a skinny rectangular chute. It is fun, although the line can back up easily. Next to the waterslide is the bungee jumping and the inflatable challenge called "the Meltdown." These are a great way to dry off and get warm before cannonballing back in.

Sun-N-Fun has different levels of bands for admission, from just a day pass for the big pool to a pass for the Wibit to a pass for everything. Each day has different pricing deals; for example Tuesdays and Thursdays are two-for-one. Click here for more pricing info!

So if you’re tired of the summer heat and need to cool off and have fun, Sun-N-Fun is the place for you! Dive in!
