Cool Stay at Coronado Springs
Hi everyone! I’m really sorry that I haven’t posted in so
long, but this summer, I’m back! Over this Memorial Day weekend, I visited Walt
Disney World with friends and family, and I had a great time!
First, our amazing hotel. We stayed at Coronado Springs
(click here for their website), a resort we had never stayed at before.
Coronado Springs is a Mexican-themed resort, featuring Disney’s very own Tres
Caballeros. Inside the common area, or El Centro, you can find a sit-down restaurant,
called the Maya Grill, Rix Sports Bar and Grill, a large food court, and a gift
shop.
In the center of the resort, there is a large lake with a sandy
area surrounding it. On this sandy area, you can find many hammocks to relax on
(which I thought was really cool). The hotel itself is great, but so is the
location! Coronado Springs is only a very short drive or bus ride away from Epcot and
Animal Kingdom, and not too far away from Hollywood Studios and Magic Kingdom.
The guest rooms are
split into three sections: The Cabanas, the Ranchos, and the Casitas. All three
are cute, quaint, and pretty! We stayed in
the Cabanas area, which had two stories. Our room had two queen beds, a small
desk, and a bathroom with a tub shower. We had a view of our area’s quiet pool,
and past that, the lake in the center of the resort.
Speaking of pools, the main one is awesome! It is very large
and has a 50-foot replica of an ancient Mayan pyramid with water running down
the front guarding it. Plus, there is a 123-foot water slide leading into the
main pool. Called the Jaguar Slide, it is full of twists, turns, and fun. Near
the pool, there is a playground, arcade, a poolside bar, a sandbox area,
volleyball nets, a hot tub, and a kiddie pool.
Coronado Springs is an amazing hotel, and I would go back in
a heartbeat! If you’re going to Disney, check it out! I think you’ll like it as
much as I did.
